Eyebrow Thinning is Cause for Concern

With age, and sometimes with certain conditions, you may witness thinning eyebrows. This can be very disconcerting for any one, especially women who rely on these important features that beautify the face. There are options, and some may seem extreme, but they are worth a try before you race off to the nearest tattoo artist (which is not recommended by most) in desperation.

how to thicken eyebrows

Tips to Thicken Eyebrows Naturally

Castor Oil. You can pick up castor oil anywhere, and it’s relatively inexpensive. The treatment to grow thicker eyebrows with castor oil is easy–just apply directly on the eyebrows and leave on overnight, repeating the process nightly for a period of 3-4 weeks, which is when you should start seeing some results.

Vaseline petroleum jelly may also help you grow thicker eyebrows. Apply twice per day directly on the brows and you may see results in about 4 weeks.

Coconut Oil. This wonder oil can do wonders for naturally thickening eyebrows. Again, apply on the eyebrows at bedtime and leave on overnight. You should see results in a few weeks. Be careful not to get any coconut oil in the eyes–it really stings.

Onion Juice. If you can stand the smell, try applying fresh onion juice on your brows. As onion is high in sulfur, it will increase blood circulation, stimulating new hair growth.

Thinning Eyebrows

Aside from directly applying products onto your eyebrows, you should treat your body right, as a vitamin deficiency can hinder hair growth. For eyebrows, eat a diet rich in vitamins B, C and E, and supplement your diet with these, and other important vitamins and minerals. Often, it’s not what you eat, but what you DON’T eat.

Be Proactive

Being proactive means being good to yourself. There’s only¬† ONE you, so take the time to do things right. Having said that, it means being good with maintenance. Often, if you’re good to yourself in every way, then you’ll encounter less problems with your health and your appearance. It’s always easier to maintain rather than repair, so keep that in mind before you let things get out of control, even with the “smaller” things that may seem insignificant–ask any woman who hasn’t got eyebrows if it’s insignificant.
