Oatmeal and Honey Homemade Face Masks
This face mask is ideal to cleanse and rejuvenate skin and can be used on any skin type.
You will need:
- 1 tablespoon yogurt (the real kind, with live bacterial cultures)
- 1 tablespoon finely ground oatmeal
- 2 or 3 drops of warmed honey
Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. To warm the honey, which is important to liquify it, simply place a spoon in boiling or very hot water for a few moments. This will heat up the spoon so that when the honey is placed on it, it will liquify.
Stir the mixture well and apply to the face, using the tips of your fingers. Allow the face mask to set for about 10 to 15 minutes. To rinse off, you will need to splash warm water on the face several times. This should be followed by a warm washcloth, and then a cold one. Finally, complete the procedure with a moisturizer.
