It boosts the production of cortisone, as well as other adrenal hormones. It converts fats and sugars to energy, all the while protecting the body from physical stress and mental stress.  It also provides protection against toxins and boosts energy.</p>
<p>A diet lacking of pantothenic acid can result in graying hair, hair loss, skin disorders, blood and stomach disorders, hypoglycemia, depression and chronic fatigue.</p>
<p>Foods containing vitamin B5 include: whole grains, cereals, beans, green leafy vegetables, peas, eggs yolks, and peanuts.<br />

Therapeutically pantothenic acid is used to treat low blood pressure, low blood sugar and insomnia.</p>
