Pumpkin Homemade Face Masks For All Skin Types

Homemade face masks made with pumpkin are not as common as others, like egg white face masks, but they provide a lot of good things for the skin because the pumpkin is filled with antioxidants and has powerful exfoliating acids.  These inexpensive masks can brighten dull skin and soothe after sun exposure, while softening fine lines.

The entire preparation takes about 10 minutes and you will need:

  • 1/2 cup fresh pumpkin pulp
  • 2 eggs

and one of the following, depending on your skin type.

  • 2 teaspoon almond milk (for dry or combo skin)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (for dry skin)
  • 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice (if you have oily skin)

To prepare, you will need to puree the pumpkin into a paste, then add the egg.  Add one of the other ingredients that are for your skin type, and stir the mixture well. Then, apply to the face, using your fingers, allowing it to sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, follow up with a warm and then a cold compress. After all is said and done, moisturize.
